November 10 Not outDown, but not out
We are almost 49 hours since the nightmare began, and at least 24 months of horror ahead. Republicans have no one but themselves to blame. The leaders of the RNC had their chance to convince the American people that we are in deed on a right track, and the putrid dribble foaming out of the mouths of democrats was in fact lies. This will have to include President Bush. I still fully trust our president, but I am afraid he has done a terrible job of being convincing to the American public why we must stay the course in Iraq, and being more demanding against the liberals in congress. I hope, with the new congress, the president will stay firm, and will use his veto power as often as necessary, especially when the petty liberals that hold the majority, try to block ANY of his picks for Federal courts, including the US Supreme Court. Maybe the first test will come when associate justice John Paul Stevens finally decides he has done enough damage to his interpretation of the US Constitution, and resigns. You still don’t think that the democrats are out of touch, that the northeastern liberals are so arrogant and pompous that they don’t care about the common man? Consider New York congressman Charlie Rangle. The congressman from New York made the comment "Mississippi gets more than their fair share back in federal money, but who the hell wants to live in Mississippi?" Way to build a bridge Charlie, that will further help opinions of northerners in the deep south. I am sure the good people of the great state of Mississippi feel confident that you care about all Americans. Since you went on in your ramblings saying how you cant imagine how anyone wouldn’t want to live in New York. Well sir, if they are all like you, I can’t imagine how anyone would want to. Congressman Rangle, I have been to New York, and I have been to Mississippi, and I would choose Mississippi any day. Let’s have an apology to Mississippi congressman, and while you’re at it, to New York, for making the nice people there, (most of the humble ones probably didn’t vote for you anyway) looking as arrogant as you. Dr. Democrat (Dean) said recently on a liberal comedy show, that the democrats do not intend on impeaching the president. Ok doc, thanks for the 411, since, President Bush has not done anything deserving of such.TrackbacksThe trackback URL for this entry is: http://thefactsarethefacts.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!6885EC312E136064!339.trak Weblogs that reference this entry
